Choose Me

Applying to college has become much more than a simple rite of passage; it is a defining moment in the lives of young people. Choose Me shows the entire college admissions process through the eyes of seven applicants, all good-to-excellent students at a public high school in Port Washington, New York. For two years, as they immerse themselves in the process, Choose Me focuses on their emotional journey – the competition with classmates, the stress of taking tests, the disappointments when the scores are not what had been hoped for, the pressure of parents’ expectations, the elation of acceptance and the pain of rejection.
